Lexy Vreeland

Lexy Vreeland works in an ICU unit at the largest hospital in her area, primarily assigned to patients with a variety of mental health conditions. It’s the culmination of a lifetime of firsthand observation.
Growing up with a brother on the autism spectrum, Lexy viewed his psychiatric health nurse as a role model who inspired her to choose a career in this field.
She completed her RN to BSN online through a nine-month program, but she wanted to push forward in her nursing career. Because she lives in a remote area of Minnesota, she benefited from the student support and online flexibility provided by the Master of Science in Nursing — Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (MSN PMHNP) program at Maryville Online.
During her free time, Lexy likes to remain active with softball, helping out with her brother, going for runs, playing with her dogs, or hiking along Lake Superior.
